Included are collaborating with Legal Island, a multi-award-winning workplace compliance company that works across both the UK and Ireland, to deliver an 8-part Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace certification course.
The certification course aims to provide a thorough understanding of the main components of diversity, equity, equality, inclusion and belonging, and is devised and delivered by two leading D&I organisations in the UK & Ireland.
Why is D&I important?
A report from Deloitte found that inclusive organisations have a competitive advantage, with higher levels of engagement, trust and career satisfaction. Employees also reported more positive experiences with hybrid working, lower levels of burnout and planned to stay with their company longer.
This certificate will help you to understand the opportunities that now present themselves for great inclusivity in this new world of work in which we find ourselves now. You will be challenged and encouraged to re-examine what you thought you knew.
This 8-week certification course is led by the D&I experts at Included, with special guests from Lewis Silkin LLP delivering on equality and the law.
After participating in this course you will be able to:
- Understand the core components of D&I and its importance in the modern workplace
- Identify the main barriers to greater D&I in your organisation
- Devise a D&I Strategy that is right for your organisation
- Improve recruitment methods to aid greater diversity
- Understand how to secure buy-in from senior staff for more effective D&I activity
- Identify the main litigation risks your organisation faces for discrimination claims
- Advise on how to introduce more inclusive behaviour into the workplace
Who is this course for?
This certificate course will suit those in HR wanting to develop their personal and professional interest in workplace D&I. It will also suit organisations with a newly created D&I post wanting to access immediately relevant knowledge, contacts and networks.
