Fireside Chat: Breaking Barriers: Beyond the Hashtags, Beyond IWD

Breaking Barriers: Beyond the Hashtags, Beyond IWD

The conversation on equity and inclusion cannot be confined to a single day. As Women’s History Month comes to a close, join us for a powerful and thought-provoking session with keynote speaker Dimple Agarwal, a leader and advocate for equity in the workplace. In this session, Dimple will bring to life the realities of workplace culture and discrimination, the barriers to real inclusion, and the urgent need for systemic change. Drawing from her extensive experience, both in the corporate world and supporting individuals facing discrimination, she will challenge the myths of corporate progress and provide tangible actions to accelerate action and drive meaningful change.

Key Takeaways:
  • Recognise the Reality – Understand how discrimination and weak governance structures hold back progress.
  • Challenge the Status Quo – Learn why organisations struggle with real change and how to push for accountability.
  • Move Beyond Lip Service – Spot performative allyship and demand action from leadership.
  • Take Practical Steps – Identify everyday actions to foster a more inclusive workplace culture.
  • Build Collective Power – Understand how individuals and allies can advocate effectively for change.

Equity isn’t just a hashtag, and inclusion isn’t a one-day IWD conversation. This Women’s History Month let’s move beyond statements and take action to create workplaces where equity isn’t just a hashtag.
