From Promises to Progress: 2020 Was a Wake-Up Call – Did We Answer?
Five years after the murder of George Floyd sparked a global reckoning on racial injustice, we pause to ask: What has truly changed – and where do we still fall short?
Join our panel of inclusion experts and leaders for a powerful, honest conversation exploring the impact of 2020 on global racial equity, workplace culture, and personal journeys of allyship and advocacy. This is not a retrospective for reflection alone – it’s a call to action for those still committed to meaningful, systemic change.
What You’ll Learn:
Through three focused sections, we’ll explore:
- What Has Changed Since 2020?
We’ll look at the global ripple effects of George Floyd’s death – beyond protests and hashtags.
- Personal Reflections
What did 2020 awaken in each of us? Panelists will share how they are navigating “ally fatigue” to finding moments of hope.
- Promises vs Progress
What progress has actually been delivered? How can we tell the difference between performative allyship and systemic change?
