David Fairs

David is one of Included’s Ambassadors, and is also a Partner at LCP, where he combines insights on regulatory approaches with his UK and international corporate advisor experience for the benefit of LCP’s clients and prospects. David has over 35 years of experience in the pensions and financial services industry and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.

David is passionate about helping organisations shape a more positive future through market leading capabilities across pensions and financial services, energy, health and analytics.

He has co-chaired the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at The Pensions Regulator, where he was the former Executive Director of Regulatory Policy, Analysis and Advice. David was responsible for developing TPR policy on a wide range of issues, including governance and trusteeship, climate change, funding of DB schemes, the pensions dashboard, regulation of Superfunds and pension fund investment, ESG and climate change. David was a Board member of TPR, TPR’s representative on the Board of Supervisors at EIOPA, and Chairman of JFAR’s pensions working group.

David also provides commentary to national and trade press and have appeared on radio and television to comment on pensions and benefit issues.
